Since 26th September 1981 I have been busy with genealogy. After so many years I like to show some of the results.

Besides the "official" results, like pedigree, circle diagram and so on (see Kwartierstaat), I like to share personal experiences, nice findings, my definition of a hobby, ..... under the heading of Cosy Chats (Gezellige Kneut).

Quite often I have been asked "How far back are you now?" It brought me to invent the Performance Indicator Pedigree (PIKWA) .

Early in the night of 31 December 2011 I reached the PIKWA-value of 60%. Quite a milestone which never could have been reached without a lot of help from more experienced genealogists. In Tribute to H. Boegem sr I show how I have been helped in the early days of this hobby. It also shows how this hobby was done in a time when PCs and Internet did not yet exist.

I sometimes realize that I am too much confused or I am confronted with opposite opinions. In those cases I address it as a puzzle. Some of these puzzles have been resolved in the meantime, but with a lot of other puzzles I can use your help.
